Monogram CombinationsUnique Monograms combining multiple styles. ![]() Monogram Styles Used:Monogram: W A single initial W from our Lattice Monogram Set 3. The lattice section was digitized in two colors, but for this project we simplified the look by using the same thread color for both sections. This style could be described as an emblem, so to make it even more emblematic we surrounded the design with a satin stitch circle and a closely-spaced ring of french knots. That design is called Year 1928 from Monogram Flourishes Set 1. The overall size is 4 3/4" (121mm) tall by 4 3/4" (120mm) wide. How we made these monogramsEmbroidery software programs make it easy to delete elements, copy and paste elements from other designs, resize different aspects, and merge elements together into one new design. Each program is a bit different in how the Edit functions are managed. Once you have learned to use yours, creating new monograms from other monogram parts is creative and fun. Experiment with different arrangements and colors. |
