Monogram CombinationsUnique Monograms combining multiple styles. Monogram Styles Used:Monogram: K This simple initial K would look pretty plain and forgettable without some sort of embellishment. We experimented with using other letters from this same style to make something abstract to use as a "base" for the monogram. First, the letter T was slipped inside the opening in the letter U, using the smaller provided letter size. Next, the combination was rotated 90 degrees, and a copy made, to be placed head-to-head under the letter, centered. Sewn with the embellishment in white and the letter K in a pale green this monogram would look great on a towel. The overall size is 4 3/8" (110mm) tall by 5 5/8" (144mm) wide How we made these monogramsEmbroidery software programs make it easy to delete elements, copy and paste elements from other designs, resize different aspects, and merge elements together into one new design. Each program is a bit different in how the Edit functions are managed. Once you have learned to use yours, creating new monograms from other monogram parts is creative and fun. Experiment with different arrangements and colors. |
