Monogram Combinations

Unique Monograms combining multiple styles.

Monogram Styles Used:

Monogram: M

The letters in Brushwork Monogram Set 4 have interesting shapes, and the letter M for a single initial monogram caught our eye - rounded, a bit like a wishbone.

To give it even more interest we created a frame from the letter T and the letter U from the same style. Nestling them together created a nice motif, which we copied as two of the same, then went on copying that dual combination three more times, placed to create a vertical rectangle. The letter M fits in the middle, enlarged to occupy the available center space. This large monogram would be great on a pillow or a shower curtain.

The overall size is 10 3/4" (273mm) tall by 8" (203mm) wide.

How we made these monograms

Embroidery software programs make it easy to delete elements, copy and paste elements from other designs, resize different aspects, and merge elements together into one new design. Each program is a bit different in how the Edit functions are managed. Once you have learned to use yours, creating new monograms from other monogram parts is creative and fun. Experiment with different arrangements and colors.
