Monogram CombinationsUnique Monograms combining multiple styles.  Monogram Styles Used:Monogram: M For this single letter monogram we started with one of the letters from the Gothic Monogram Set 20, then eliminated the included central letter and the center ring detail. To allow a little more interior space we rotated the design 45 degrees. Next, a bold letter for the center. We chose the letter M from the Cutwork Monogram Set 3, eliminating the cutwork brackets on either side. Finally, the remaining letter was scaled down to fit. The overall size is 3 7/8" (97mm) tall by 3 7/8" (97mm) wide. How we made these monogramsEmbroidery software programs make it easy to delete elements, copy and paste elements from other designs, resize different aspects, and merge elements together into one new design. Each program is a bit different in how the Edit functions are managed. Once you have learned to use yours, creating new monograms from other monogram parts is creative and fun. Experiment with different arrangements and colors. |
