Monogram CombinationsUnique Monograms combining multiple styles.  Monogram Styles Used:Monogram: EKA For a monogram for someone who appreciates both old and new, we combined a more modern interpretation of a classic Arts and Crafts style - letter A (last initial) from Arts and Crafts Monogram Set 11 with more traditional versions - letters E and K (first and middle initials) from Arts and Crafts Monogram Set 1. The flanking letters are two color - satin stitch with thin satin stitch outlines, so they are a nice contrast to the simpler wide center letter. The overall size is 3 1/2" (89mm) tall by 4 5/8" (118mm) wide. How we made these monogramsEmbroidery software programs make it easy to delete elements, copy and paste elements from other designs, resize different aspects, and merge elements together into one new design. Each program is a bit different in how the Edit functions are managed. Once you have learned to use yours, creating new monograms from other monogram parts is creative and fun. Experiment with different arrangements and colors. |
