Monogram CombinationsUnique Monograms combining multiple styles.  Monogram Styles Used:Monogram: S In this case we started with the border/frame and then went looking for styles that were visually compatible and also fit inside the available space. The frame from Monogram Blends - Ornamental 3 is a star shape, with small corners that are done in manual seed stitch with a "dot" (french knot) on top. The letters in Art Deco Monogram Set 9 also have this same manual fill element so the two compliment each other nicely. Adjusting the thread color scheme to use the same color for both manual seed stitch elements further emphasizes their compatibility. The rest of the color palette is soft tones of blue and salmon. The overall size is 6 1/4"(159mm) tall by 6 1/4"(159mm) wide. How we made these monogramsEmbroidery software programs make it easy to delete elements, copy and paste elements from other designs, resize different aspects, and merge elements together into one new design. Each program is a bit different in how the Edit functions are managed. Once you have learned to use yours, creating new monograms from other monogram parts is creative and fun. Experiment with different arrangements and colors. |
