Monogram CombinationsUnique Monograms combining multiple styles. Monogram Styles Used:Monogram: SFN Our Romanesque Monogram Set 7 has stong historical references but is intentionally simplified a little to give it a bit of a modern feel. The center vertical letter N is accompanied by a double satin stitch border, and space is left on the left an right side within the borders for flanking initials. For a variation on this monogram style we wanted the flanking letters to be a bit fancier, so we chose the letters S and F from our Gothic Monogram Set 9, reducing the letter sizes within our software so that they fit comfortably on either side of the N. The open but more embellished style contrasts and compliments the open streamlined center letter. The overall size is 3 1/2" (89 mm) tall by 3" (74 mm) wide. How we made these monogramsEmbroidery software programs make it easy to delete elements, copy and paste elements from other designs, resize different aspects, and merge elements together into one new design. Each program is a bit different in how the Edit functions are managed. Once you have learned to use yours, creating new monograms from other monogram parts is creative and fun. Experiment with different arrangements and colors. |
