Monogram CombinationsUnique Monograms combining multiple styles. ![]() Monogram Styles Used:Monogram: BPK The open space inside the satin stitch outlines in the Appliqué 1 XL Monogram Set provides the opportunity to put additional letters inside to create a three-letter monogram. Since the letter K is smooth and rounded we thought it would be interesting to choose the other two letters - B and P - from a contrasting style that is straight and angular. Our Art Deco Monogram Set 6 provided a perfect source, and to add a bit of additional interest we used the wing-needle dots that are embellishments to the smaller size letters as a dividing line between the two initials. The overall size is 7" (177 mm) tall by 4 3/4" (121 mm) wide. How we made these monogramsEmbroidery software programs make it easy to delete elements, copy and paste elements from other designs, resize different aspects, and merge elements together into one new design. Each program is a bit different in how the Edit functions are managed. Once you have learned to use yours, creating new monograms from other monogram parts is creative and fun. Experiment with different arrangements and colors. |
