Monogram CombinationsUnique Monograms combining multiple styles. Monogram Styles Used:Monogram: DPM A frame that is a square can easily be turned into a diamond shape by rotating the design 45 degrees. We did that with Frame E from Monogram Frames Set 4. The open space in the center can contain a single initial or a three-letter combination, and the swirly satin stitch details are a good companion to simple letter styles that might be a bit wider. We chose the letters D, P, and M from Diamond Monogram Set 4. The combination was scaled down a bit in our software program so that it has a snug fit with the frame. The overall size is 3 1/2" (89mm) tall by 3 1/2" (89mm) wide. How we made these monogramsEmbroidery software programs make it easy to delete elements, copy and paste elements from other designs, resize different aspects, and merge elements together into one new design. Each program is a bit different in how the Edit functions are managed. Once you have learned to use yours, creating new monograms from other monogram parts is creative and fun. Experiment with different arrangements and colors. |
