Monogram CombinationsUnique Monograms combining multiple styles.  Monogram Styles Used:Monogram: T The letters in our Arabesque 7 XL Monogram Set combine straight and rounded elements. For this single letter monogram - initial T - we wanted to add a small and discreet embellishment. Looking through our other styles, with the goal of extracting a small part of something in an overall monogram style, we liked the small v-shaped combination of wing-needle elements that are part of the border in the Avant Garde Monogram Set 3 style.The border has some leaf shapes that are the ends of the overall border. For this project we chose only the center section, with an arrangement of 5 elements. We flipped that section over so the V faces up, then made a copy to place above each loop of the T. The overall size is 7" (177 mm) tall by 5 3/4" (145 mm) wide. How we made these monogramsEmbroidery software programs make it easy to delete elements, copy and paste elements from other designs, resize different aspects, and merge elements together into one new design. Each program is a bit different in how the Edit functions are managed. Once you have learned to use yours, creating new monograms from other monogram parts is creative and fun. Experiment with different arrangements and colors. |
