Monogram CombinationsUnique Monograms combining multiple styles.  Monogram Styles Used:Monogram: CDN For this December three-letter monogram we were thinking about snowflakes to match the holiday season - so we started with a letter from the Art Deco Monogram Set 14 and deleted the inside letter, leaving only the decoration. Next, we rotated the design 45 degrees in our embroidery software program and voila - a snowflake! To complete the new monogram we combined three letters (C, D, and N) from the Diamond Monogram Set 4, then reduced the size of the three-letter combination so that it fits comfortably within the decorative border. This would make a nice holiday decoration for a napkin. The overall size is 3 7/8" (100mm) tall by 3 7/8" (100mm) wide. How we made these monogramsEmbroidery software programs make it easy to delete elements, copy and paste elements from other designs, resize different aspects, and merge elements together into one new design. Each program is a bit different in how the Edit functions are managed. Once you have learned to use yours, creating new monograms from other monogram parts is creative and fun. Experiment with different arrangements and colors. |
