Monogram CombinationsUnique Monograms combining multiple styles.  Monogram Styles Used:Monogram: T The Avant Garde 6 XL Monogram Set, based on the artwork we found from the early 1900s, makes an interesting three-letter monogram. The large center letters are also interesting by themselves, with long sweeping tails. For this single initial monogram - initial T - we wanted to add just a bit more design. Looking through our other styles, we thought we could use the leaf and open circle embellishments from the Art Deco Monogram Set 13. After deleting the central letter we saved just the embellishments as a new design file, them merged that design with the satin stitch letter. The overall size is 7" (177mm) tall by 3 3/4" (95mm) wide. How we made these monogramsEmbroidery software programs make it easy to delete elements, copy and paste elements from other designs, resize different aspects, and merge elements together into one new design. Each program is a bit different in how the Edit functions are managed. Once you have learned to use yours, creating new monograms from other monogram parts is creative and fun. Experiment with different arrangements and colors. |
