Monogram CombinationsUnique Monograms combining multiple styles.  Monogram Styles Used:Monogram: S This single initial S monogram is the result of copying and pasting and manipulating letters from the Avant Garde 7 XL Monogram Set - and seeing what happens. We started with the letter D and rotated it 90 degrees. Next, we made a copy and flipped it on its axis. The first thought was to make a border (as we have done for our Monogram Frames 2 (Frame A) with letters from Avant Garde Monogram Set 7. That idea was abandoned after moving the two copies one above the other, and playing with the spacing. The result is a slightly abstract, large initial S. The overall size is 4 3/4"(120mm) tall by 5 7/8"(148mm) wide How we made these monogramsEmbroidery software programs make it easy to delete elements, copy and paste elements from other designs, resize different aspects, and merge elements together into one new design. Each program is a bit different in how the Edit functions are managed. Once you have learned to use yours, creating new monograms from other monogram parts is creative and fun. Experiment with different arrangements and colors. |
