Monogram CombinationsUnique Monograms combining multiple styles. Monogram Styles Used:Monogram: K This is a very simple project to extend the decorative possibilities of letters from our Arts and Crafts Monogram Set 7. For a single initial monogram to be placed on the corner of a large square dinner napkin, we wanted to emphasize an overall square motif. Placing four repeats of the L shaped bracket from the left corner of the letter K on the right side by copying, pasting, and rotating just this one element did the trick. Sewing the brackets in white on white linen, in combination with a more dynamic color scheme for the initial and flower embellishment kept everything in balance. The overall size is 3 1/2" (89mm) tall by 3 1/2" (895mm) wide. How we made these monogramsEmbroidery software programs make it easy to delete elements, copy and paste elements from other designs, resize different aspects, and merge elements together into one new design. Each program is a bit different in how the Edit functions are managed. Once you have learned to use yours, creating new monograms from other monogram parts is creative and fun. Experiment with different arrangements and colors. |
