Monogram CombinationsUnique Monograms combining multiple styles.  Monogram Styles Used:Monogram: T We thought it would be interesting to do something simple that takes advantage of the size differences between the Teen Monogram Set and the Teen XL Applique Monogram Set. The letter J has a separate loop motif that sits on top of the letter. We started with the letter T from the smaller (Teen) style, then isolated the loop from the J from the XL Applique style and merged it with the smaller letter. The loop is placed so that it teeters on the T. A light blue applique fabric with lime green border thread gives the loop a light feeling sitting on the rich burgundy letter T. The overall size is 4 3/4" (120 mm) tall by 3 1/2" (89 mm) wide. How we made these monogramsEmbroidery software programs make it easy to delete elements, copy and paste elements from other designs, resize different aspects, and merge elements together into one new design. Each program is a bit different in how the Edit functions are managed. Once you have learned to use yours, creating new monograms from other monogram parts is creative and fun. Experiment with different arrangements and colors. |
