Monogram CombinationsUnique Monograms combining multiple styles.  Monogram Styles Used:Monogram: S The Art Deco Monogram Set 11 has some letters that border on the abstract - in particular the letter H. In order to provide "brackets" for the letter S from this style we added two copies of the letter H, one turned on it's back for the left side, and the same letter mirrored for the right side. These two elements are just abstract enough to not really suggest a letter of the alphabet at all when arranged this way. Sewing the brackets in a white thread, with a higher contrast for the center letter, further accents this as a single initial monogram. The overall size is 3 1/2"(89mm) tall by 10 1/4"(260mm) wide. How we made these monogramsEmbroidery software programs make it easy to delete elements, copy and paste elements from other designs, resize different aspects, and merge elements together into one new design. Each program is a bit different in how the Edit functions are managed. Once you have learned to use yours, creating new monograms from other monogram parts is creative and fun. Experiment with different arrangements and colors. |
