Monogram CombinationsUnique Monograms combining multiple styles.  Monogram Styles Used:Monogram: DRW One of our customers, Adele Perri of The Signature Stitch in White Plains, NY, sent in this monogram, which she created for a client. She used the letter W from our Gothic Monogram Set 8, flanking it with the letters D and R from our Arabesque Monogram Set 7. In their original form all of the letters are vertical, but Adele used her embroidery software program to skew the flanking letters so that the D tips down on the left and the R tips down on the right. The result is an elegant and graceful new design, accented with three small diamonds on each side. The overall size is 3 1/2" (89mm) tall by 4" (101 mm) wide. How we made these monogramsEmbroidery software programs make it easy to delete elements, copy and paste elements from other designs, resize different aspects, and merge elements together into one new design. Each program is a bit different in how the Edit functions are managed. Once you have learned to use yours, creating new monograms from other monogram parts is creative and fun. Experiment with different arrangements and colors. |
