Monogram CombinationsUnique Monograms combining multiple styles. Monogram Styles Used:Monogram: G Many of these Combinations begin with a desire to make a simple and effective change. In this case the starting point was the brackets that are part of Blends-Classic 3. The brackets are themselves a combination of two floral bouquets in Monogram Flourishes 3: Year 1956. In their distributed form they are left and right embellishments that are a horizontal arrangement. Rotating the design 90 degrees makes it vertical, and opens up possibilities for an interesting single-letter monogram with a vertical appearance. So we went looking for vertical letters that are also fairly symmetrical. We found what we were looking for in Baroque Monogram Set 2, and dropped the central letter G in the open space without any need for resizing. The overall size is 6 5/8"(163mm) tall by 2 1/8"(56mm) wide. How we made these monogramsEmbroidery software programs make it easy to delete elements, copy and paste elements from other designs, resize different aspects, and merge elements together into one new design. Each program is a bit different in how the Edit functions are managed. Once you have learned to use yours, creating new monograms from other monogram parts is creative and fun. Experiment with different arrangements and colors. |
