Monogram CombinationsUnique Monograms combining multiple styles. ![]() Monogram Styles Used:Monogram: N Just something simple, classic, and large - that was the starting point for this single initial monogram. Starting with the letter N from the Arabesque 13 XL Monogram Set, we added two flanking embellishments (Monogram Flourishes 3: Year: 1899). They have compatible curling satin stitch columns, and both have candlewick dot elements. In order to simplify this design we deleted the manual seed stitch fill from the letter N, and matched up the colors so the dots are all the same color, and the satin stitch elements are all a different color. A variation of this monogram - leave the manual seed stitch in but sew it with the same thread color as the fabric. The overall size is "(177mm) tall by 8 1/8"(207mm) wide. How we made these monogramsEmbroidery software programs make it easy to delete elements, copy and paste elements from other designs, resize different aspects, and merge elements together into one new design. Each program is a bit different in how the Edit functions are managed. Once you have learned to use yours, creating new monograms from other monogram parts is creative and fun. Experiment with different arrangements and colors. |
