Monogram CombinationsUnique Monograms combining multiple styles.  Monogram Styles Used:Monogram: DWG For this three letter monogram, for towels, we wanted something simple with a border. We used the letter O from Moderne Monogram Set 9 as the border, with the letter turned sideways. Inside it we chose three initials from the Woolworth Monogram Set, using both sizes, with the last initial G in the center. The letters are bright, and the border design is sewn in white-on-white so that it recedes visually. The overall size is 4" (102mm) tall by 7" (177mm) wide. How we made these monogramsEmbroidery software programs make it easy to delete elements, copy and paste elements from other designs, resize different aspects, and merge elements together into one new design. Each program is a bit different in how the Edit functions are managed. Once you have learned to use yours, creating new monograms from other monogram parts is creative and fun. Experiment with different arrangements and colors. |
