Monogram Combinations

Unique Monograms combining multiple styles.

Monogram Styles Used:

Monogram: N

This simple elegant single-initial monogram would look great on a dinner napkin, or perhaps a totebag?

Starting with the letter N from the Chainstitch Monogram Set 1 we wanted to add a colorful embellishment - the essence of the concept for this Combination section - take two things and make one new thing.

The Arts and Crafts Monogram Set 4 has a two color initial accompanied by a 5 color stylized flower stem. We deleted the letter in our software, then merged just the flower design with the new letter N, and rotated the flower a bit until the two designs looked balanced and compatible.

The overall size is 3 1/2"(89mm) tall by 4 5/8"(119mm) wide.

How we made these monograms

Embroidery software programs make it easy to delete elements, copy and paste elements from other designs, resize different aspects, and merge elements together into one new design. Each program is a bit different in how the Edit functions are managed. Once you have learned to use yours, creating new monograms from other monogram parts is creative and fun. Experiment with different arrangements and colors.
