Unique Monograms combining multiple styles.
Monogram Styles Used:
We wanted to start with a symmetrical central letter for the last initial of this three-letter monogram. We chose the letter B from Gothic Monogram Set 15 for it's solid ability to occupy the center space.
For the other two letters (first and middle initial) we chose W and A from Avant Garde Monogram Set 8 - and utilized a trick that only works with some initials. The letter W reads correctly even when flipped over, so we reversed it and placed the two flanking letters so that the tails at the bottom of the letters form a simple graceful swag.
The overall size is 4 1/8" (106mm) tall by 3" (77mm) wide.
How we made these monograms
Embroidery software programs make it easy to delete elements, copy and paste elements from other designs, resize different aspects, and merge elements together into one new design. Each program is a bit different in how the Edit functions are managed. Once you have learned to use yours, creating new monograms from other monogram parts is creative and fun. Experiment with different arrangements and colors.
