Hitch Hike Lady - 1935
Director: Aubrey Scotto Synopsis: A British housekeeper Mrs. Amelia Blake (Allison Skipworth) comes to America to see her son, who has led her to believe he's made it big. Nearly broke, she is forced to hitchhike from New York to California along with a kind travelling companion Judy Martin (Mae Clarke). After completing this perilous journey she finds that her son is really in prison. Scene: Judy and Mrs. Blake discover that they have been swindled (and ditched) by their driver while in Illinois. They decide to "have a go" at hitching a ride to California Monogram: Judy's traveling outfit - with large monogram J inside a circle outline.
