Director: Joseph Santley Synopsis: Sis Hopkins (Judy Canova) is a young girl "from the sticks" who comes to the city to live and attend school with her wealthy relatives after the family farm burns down. Her uncle, bathroom-appliance mogul Horace Hopkins (Charles Butterworth) is happy to see her, but her snooty cousin Carol (Susan Hayward) isn't - and makes plans to humiliate her. Scene: Carol learns from fellow student Jeff Farnsworth (Bob Crosby - brother of Bing) that her part in the college musical has been given to her cousin Sis instead. Monogram: Carol's sweater - with lowercase monogram "csh" - using the letter order that is appropriate when all letters are the same height - last initial on the right.
