Synopsis: The Belgian detective Hercule Poirot (Sir Peter Ustinov) is engaged by an insurance company to investigate a claim filed for what turns out to be a fake diamond. He discovers that it was purchased for wealthy Arlena Marshall (Dame Diana Rigg), a former actress who has angered almost everyone she knows. He travels to the tropical island beach where she is on her honeymoon. She is found dead. There are many possible murderers.
Scene: Poirot follows leads and interviews potential killers at the seaside.
