Director: Guy Hamilton Synopsis: James Bond (Sean Connery) investigates mysterious activities in the worldwide diamond market. His investigation takes him to Las Vegas, where an eccentric casino millionaire, Willard Whyte (Jimmy Dean) is suspected of being behind it all, and operating from the penthouse of his casino, The Whyte House. Bond discovered that Whyte has been kidnapped - his identity taken over by Bond's old nemisis Ernst Stavro Blofeld (Charles Gray). Scene: Having liberated the real Willard Whyte, Bond focuses his search for the diamonds, and the plan to use them as part of an orbiting deadly laser, to an oil rig off Baja California.
