Animal House - 1978Movie: Animal House - 1978 Director: Jon Landis Synopsis: The year is 1962. Faber College has one fraternity house (Delta) so disreputable that it will take anyone. Larry Kroger (Tom Hulce) and Kent Dorfman (Stephen Furst) are freshmen, and choose Delta over Omega, the snobby alternative. Their new fraternity brothers include compulsive womanizer Otter (Tim Matheson), his adventurous best friend Boone (Peter Reigert), the daring thrill-seeker D-Day (Bruce McGill), fraternity president Robert Hoover (James Widdoes), and and the unforgettable Bluto (John Belushi). Faber's Dean Wormer (John Vernon) has had enough, and seeks to expel them all. Delta won't go quietly, and plan their revenge around the Homecoming parade. Scene: As the parade begins, a Delta fraternity brother hijacks the marching band by grabbing the Drum Major's mace when it is tossed into the air, and leads the band into a dead-end alley. Monogram: "The band uniforms are all adorned with a large script initial C - perhaps it's for "College" ? Or maybe just the existing uniform of the local Oregon band that the producers hired for this scene. Contributed by: EmbroideryArts | |||||||||||
