Monogrammed Terrycloth Towel
This unusual project, utilizing our Monogram Sets, is a monogrammed terrycloth towel.
Our photo illustration shows a monogram utilizing designs from our Diamond Monogram Set 4, along with a digitized companion background design.
Sewing monograms on terrycloth can be tricky because of all the loops in the terrycloth. The background design is a light density diamond shaped fill pattern, digitized in a parallel stitch, with a satin stitch border. It functions as a base for the monogram, controlling the loops, and also provides a frame for the three-letter monogram. We sewed it with white thread so that the shape blends with the color of the towel.
Purchase Background Design : $
When purchased, the background design is available in 7 different formats.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE COMPANION DESIGN FOR THIS PROJECT IS 4 1/2" (114mm) TALL.
You will need a hoop large enough to accomodate a design this size.
