Embroidered Soap

Soap This unusual project, utilizing our Monogram Sets, is an unusual gift idea - embroidered soap.

This project uses Art Deco Set 3.

This project utilizes Romeo, which is an ultra heavy duty water-soluable backing.

We have used the letter "B" (large size) from our Art Deco Monogram Set 3 to make the example pictured here, but any letter that is smaller than the bar of soap is suitable.

Step-by-step instructions have been prepared, and are available to be printed. We have researched suppliers for the materials needed, and include website links for materials sources.

Bar Soap:
This is quite easy to find, and comes in a variety of sizes and colors.

Try to find a type of soap that is not imprinted with the manufacturer's logo, which may interfere with the placement of the embroidery.

Our example was done on a bar of "Morning Song" moisturizing soap. We chose it not only for it's rectangular shape and for its color, but also because it came in an attractive bag with a pearl ribbon tie, which makes a nice presentation as a gift.

This soap is sold in the US by Bed & Body Works.
